Washburn & Doughty Associates, Inc. of East Boothbay, Maine is pleased to announce the delivery of Bulldog, a 98’x37’, 6700 HP, Z Drive Firefighting Tug, to Crescent Towing of New Orleans, Louisiana. Bulldog provides ship-assist and escort services for LNG tankers at the Elba Island LNG re-gasification terminal in Savannah, Georgia.

On March 7, 2003, Washburn & Doughty Associates, Inc. of East Boothbay, Maine delivered Freedom, the first in a series of two 4400 HP Z Drive (ASD) Tugs ordered by the Boston Towing & Transportation Company (BTT) of Boston, Massachusetts. Freedom’s sistership, Liberty, is scheduled to deliver in the late spring.
