The Boatyard


LOIS ANN L. MORAN undergoes sea trials while the CATHERINE C. MORAN remains at the East dock. Additional dockage is available on the yard’s Westside.

Washburn & Doughty’s two bay doors measure 50’ high x 54’ wide. Vessels are launched on traditional ways.




The pipe shop is centrally located to Washburn & Doughty’s two construction bays.




MARY ANN MORAN was the first vessel constructed in the new building from start to finish. Washburn & Doughty’s two bays can accommodate vessels up to 200’ long by 50’ wide.

LOIS ANN L. MORAN (121’ Intercon Tug) survived the ’08 fire and the new building was erected around her. She was the first vessel launched from the new building.
